Budget Speech Competition

Year 11 and 12 students in the Canberra electorate are invited to a submit a 90 second speech on the following:

You are the Treasurer of Australia, write a 90 second speech (200 words) sharing your vision for the nation.

The winning entries will be given tickets to sit in the public gallery while the Treasurer gives his Budget speech for 2024-2025.

The students will also have the opportunity to discuss their speeches and answer questions they have with Alicia about the Budget, politics or our community, and Alicia will give the winning speech in Parliament.
